Phone Number Checker for +91 Mobile Numbers
Both Shree Win forms show +91 India in front of the phone box already, so you type only ten digits. Paste a number here to see whether it fits, and what a slip such as +91 typed twice looks like. A number that fits still tells you nothing about who answers it.
The box above opens on an invented number written with +91 in front and then 91 again: +91 91 98123 45670. The checker takes off both, finds the ten digits 9812345670 and says it fits. Every example here is made up. Indian mobile numbers have no block set aside for examples, so if one belongs to someone, that is chance.
Words on this screen
| Word | In plain words |
|---|---|
| Country code | The part that tells phone networks which country a number is in. India’s is +91 |
| +91 India | The country box in front of the phone field on both forms. It arrives already chosen |
| Prefix | Anything written before the ten digits: +91, 91, 00 or 0 |
| Fits | Ten digits, the first one 6, 7, 8 or 9, once the prefix is taken off |
| OTP | A one-time code sent by text message |
Six slips and what the checker says
| Typed (invented) | Result | Why |
|---|---|---|
+91 91 98123 45670 | Fits | The country code was typed twice; once is enough |
098123 45670 | Fits | The 0 is a dialling prefix, not part of the number |
98123 4567 | Does not fit | Nine digits: one short, and nothing can say which |
98123 445670 | Does not fit | Eleven digits; three fixes offered |
58123 45670 | Does not fit | The first digit is 5, and mobile numbers start 6, 7, 8 or 9 |
98123 4567O | Does not fit | A letter O was typed for a zero |
The checker reads one number written eight ways as the same number: +91 98123 45670, +919812345670, 919812345670, 0091 98123 45670, 09812345670, +91 (0) 98123 45670, 98123-45670 and 9812345670. People paste numbers from everywhere, so it is forgiving by design.
What the forms do that the checker does not
At the time of writing (8 October 2026), the Phone Number tab of the login screen and the sign-up form each showed +91 India in front of the phone box. We typed into neither, so we cannot say whether a form trims a second 91, refuses it or keeps it. A form may be stricter than this page. Type the ten digits and nothing else, then read them against your SIM, one by one. If the form still says no, the login troubleshooter asks the next questions.
Checking your own number
- Clear the box and type your number the way you would write it for a friend, with any prefix you normally add.
- Read the tile labelled “to type where +91 India is already selected”. Those ten digits are what belong in the form’s phone box.
- If the result says Does not fit, read the reason and the fixes before you change anything. The checker only guesses at slips, and you are the one holding the SIM.
- Type the ten digits into the form by hand, and read them back once before you move on.
What a number’s shape cannot tell you
A result for a number that fits ends on one warning, and it matters most when a number turns up online, such as a support line in a video comment or a group message. Try 1800 000 0000 in the box. The checker calls it a toll-free form, not a mobile number, and adds that the digits show the type of line, not who answers it. The only short numbers it knows by name are 1930, the national cyber-fraud helpline, and 14416, the free Tele-MANAS mental-health line.
The login screen’s own line says that a forgotten password goes to customer service, but the screens we read showed no phone number. So treat a number from a chat as a reason for care, not a way in. The customer care guide sets out what we did and did not see of support, and the Telegram groups guide covers the messages these groups send.
If a text code does not arrive
Under the result sits a checklist of nine items for a text that never comes: the format, a short wait, signal, Do Not Disturb, the Spam folder, free storage, a restart, the clock and one more request. The forms we read had no box for a code, so keep it for any other service that texts you. A code that does reach your phone is yours alone: never read it out to a caller.
More checks for first-timers are on the tools page, and the register guide walks through the whole form.
Number ready? The button opens the platform’s page in a new tab. Check the address bar first, then type the ten digits only.

Common questions
The form shows an error but the checker says my number fits. What now?
The checker judges the shape and nothing else, so a fitting number can still be refused for reasons it cannot see. Check that you are on the Phone Number tab and not the Email tab, retype the ten digits slowly, and compare them with your SIM. If it still fails, the login troubleshooter on this site asks the next questions.
Why does the checker offer up to three fixes for one extra digit?
An extra digit can come from three slips: a digit typed twice in a row, a stray digit at the start, or a stray digit at the end. It lists the easiest slip first. It cannot tell which one you made, so check the number against wherever you got it.
Does a number starting with 9 belong to a real person?
Not necessarily. Mobile numbers in India may start with 6, 7, 8 or 9, and the checker only tests that the first digit is one of those. A number that passes can be switched off, unused or somebody else’s, and no tool on this page can say which.
A comment gave a 1800 number for Shree Win support. What does the checker make of it?
It calls it a toll-free form and not a mobile number, and says the digits show the type of line, not who answers it. A toll-free number can be handed to any organisation. We noted no support phone number on the screens we read, so look for a support route on your own screen inside the platform’s page, not in a comment.
Can the checker read a number from another country?
It recognises that the number is not +91 and stops there. The example +1 202 555 0143 comes back as not read, with length and first digit unchecked, because those rules differ by country. It reads Indian mobile numbers only.
Does the checker look my number up or keep a copy?
No. It works on the text in the box, inside your browser, and nothing is looked up, sent or stored. There is no copy-link button on purpose, because a link would carry your number with it.
