Win Rate Calculator: Skill or Just Luck?
A good start feels like skill. Type your wins, your losses, the payout and any fee, and see the win rate you need to break even, the range your record could really sit in and whether luck alone could explain it.
The box above opens on 8 wins and 2 losses, a payout of 2× and no fee. A win rate is wins divided by all rounds, so 8 of 10 is 80.0%. The payout is what a win returns for each ₹1 staked, stake included, so 2 means even money. At the time of writing (8 October 2026) we could not read the payouts of Win Go or MotoRace, so type the ones on your own screen.
Words on this screen
| Word | Plain meaning |
|---|---|
| Win rate | Wins divided by all rounds |
| Break-even rate | The win rate at which you end, on average, with what you staked |
| Payout | What a win returns per ₹1 staked, stake included |
| Fee | A share some games keep from each stake before the round |
| 95% range | Where the true win rate could plausibly sit, given your record |
| Luck test | How often luck alone gives a record this far from break-even, either side |
Break-even comes first
The break-even rate is 1 divided by what a win returns once any fee has come off. These pairs are illustrations of how rounds of this kind are commonly described.
| Payout | Fee | Break-even win rate |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5× | 2% | 68.03% |
| 2× | none | 50.00% |
| 2× | 2% | 51.02% |
| 4.5× | 2% | 22.68% |
| 9× | 2% | 11.34% |
A small payout needs a high win rate, and a big one breaks even on a low rate. The long-shot section below shows what that does to a record.
Reading 8 wins in 10
The result boxes say five things:
- 80.0% win rate, against 50.00% to break even, which is 5 wins in 10.
- A range of 49.0% to 94.3%. It includes 50.00%, so the record cannot show you are above break-even.
- 10.9% luck test. About 1 record in 9 from a break-even game sits this far away on one side or the other.
- 20 rounds needed to tell a gap this size from luck.
- ₹160 back per ₹100 staked, but only if 80% were the true rate. Across the range it is ₹98.03 to ₹188.66.
The same 80% with longer records
| Record | 95% range | Luck test | The tool’s reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 10 | 49.0% to 94.3% | 10.9% | Well within luck |
| 16 of 20 | 58.4% to 91.9% | 1.18% | Unusual for luck alone |
| 40 of 50 | 67.0% to 88.8% | 0.0024% | Unusual for luck alone |
The range narrows as the record grows. A record can turn unusual, as 16 of 20 does, and still belong to someone who was lucky. Across 1,000 players on a break-even game, about 12 would show a record as lopsided as 16 of 20, in one direction or the other, and about 6 of them on the winning side. The ones on the other side rarely mention it.
A long shot: 12 wins in 100
Take a 9× payout with a 2% fee, which breaks even on 11.34%, and a record of 12 wins in 100 rounds. That is 12.0%, only 0.7 of a point above break-even. The range is 7.0% to 19.8%, and the luck test is 75.4%, so luck alone gives a record this far off three times in four. The tool says it would take 18,268 rounds to tell a gap this small from luck. If 12.0% were the true rate, ₹105.84 would come back per ₹100 staked, but across the range it is anywhere from ₹61.73 to ₹174.74.
Keeping a record that means something
- Write each round down as soon as it ends, win or lose, before the next starts.
- Begin the count at a round you chose in advance, never right after a run of wins.
- Keep the stake the same, so that rounds and rupees tell the same story.
- Do not stop when you are ahead and count only that stretch.
What it cannot tell you
In a game where every round is a fresh draw, as rounds of this kind are commonly described, there is no skill to measure. A record can only be consistent with luck or unusual for it. We cannot see inside any platform, and no record says what comes next. The probability calculator answers “how likely in N rounds”, the hack guide shows why a lucky record can look like skill, and the lottery guide covers the five tiles. More free checks are on the tools page.
Keeping a tally of every round? Good. If you open Shree Win’s page, read the address bar first, then set a limit for the day.

Common questions
Where do I find the payout to type for Win Go or MotoRace?
We could not read it. At the time of writing (8 October 2026) the rules of both tiles sat behind an account, and we make none to test. Look for a rules, help or odds button on the tile. If your screen shows no payout for a bet, the calculator has nothing to work from, and any answer is a guess.
Why does a 1.5× payout need 68.03% wins to break even?
Because a small payout leaves little room for a loss. With a 2% fee, each win returns 1.47 for every ₹1 staked, so you need to win about two rounds in three to get back what you put in. A 9× payout is the opposite: it breaks even on 11.34%, which is about 1 round in 9.
I won 16 of my first 20 rounds. Does that show skill?
It shows a record that is unusual for luck alone: 1.18%, about 12 in 1,000 for a break-even game. The 95% range is 58.4% to 91.9%, wide because 20 rounds is few. The tool also warns that a record picked after a lucky run looks better than it is. It cannot say the next 20 rounds will match.
How many rounds must I keep a record before it means anything?
It depends on how far the true rate sits from break-even. At a break-even rate of 50.00%, the tool says a gap of 10 points needs about 194 rounds to stand apart from luck, 5 points needs 783, 3 points needs 2,178 and 1 point needs 19,620. A small edge in either direction takes a very long record to show.
Do I count rounds I watched but did not bet on?
No. Count only rounds where you put a stake down, and count every one of them in the order you played. Leaving out rounds you skipped is fine. Leaving out losses, or starting your count after a good run, is what makes a record look better than it is.
If my win rate is above break-even, am I ahead in rupees?
Not necessarily. The calculator counts rounds, not rupees, and assumes one stake each time. If you stake ₹500 after a loss and ₹50 after a win, you can win more rounds than you lose and still be behind. Add up the rupees in and out, and use the win rate only as a check on the rounds.
